Elvis's death was attributed to a cardiac arrhythmia, but it was later revealed that his health had been deteriorating for years due to various factors, including his demanding schedule, prescription drug use, and unhealthy lifestyle.

Elvis's passing served as a poignant reminder of the cost of stardom and the importance of taking care of one's well-being.

Elvis Presley's life was a bittersweet journey, marked by incredible talent, adoration, and the dark side of fame. Graceland was opened to the public in 1982. Attracting over half a million visitors annually, it became the second-most-visited home in the United States, after the White House. The residence was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2006.

At his death, he left behind a daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, age 9. She was the child of Elvis and his wife for seven years, Priscilla.

Sadly, Lisa Marie Presley died January 12, 2023 of a cardiac arrest, at the age of 54.
